Nepal tops South Asian chart of FIFA rankings

Despite suffering a crushing defeat against Jordan in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers, Nepal is at the top of the FIFA rankings among the South Asian countries as per the latest update provided by the football’s world governing body on Wednesday.

Nepal moved up 12 spots in the FIFA rankings to 136th spot from 148th spot gaining a total 184 points, as per the FIFA updated rankings.Nepal is followed by Bangladesh (147th spot), India (153rd spot), Maldives (160th spot), Pakistan (171st spot), Sri Lanka (176th), Afghanistan(179th) and Bhutan (201st) in the FIFA rankings. Now I want to see Nepal reach the top of Asia's ranking. Win or lose I will always be supporting my nation Nepal and finally I would like to congratulate all the Players and the coach of Nepal Football Team for their hard work and also to our ANFA president Ganesh Thapa. Jai Nepal!
