Asmita Ale playing for Aston Villa

Asmita Ale a daughter of a retired Gurkha soldier is the first girl from Nepalese community to play for Aston Villa.
Asmita Ale has started the season with Aston Villa's Under 11 Girls Team after impressing in trials at the Premiership club's Centre of Excellence. She has been keen on football since her brother Asim, who plays for Chetwynd Under 12s, first started playing for Nuneaton Boys five years ago. Asmita went for trials at the Centre of Excellence at Villa Park for two week and the coaches were impressed with her speedy and decisive style of play. Her next game is on Saturday against Liverpool Girls Under 11s at the sports centre at Tamworth where the Villa girls play all of their home fixtures.
"Obviously, we have no idea at this stage what the future holds," said her father. "But if she can maintain the progress she has shown so far then there is every possibility she may find herself in the England Women's Football Squad before too long."
